Even the worst day in the field hunting is better than the best day at work.

Admit it, you had a great time.

Definitely. I would endeavor to make the next hunt last just as long

The concession holder has run out of venison to sell from his farm store. He has requested a roe or three for his freezer.

When I got home from work, I realized I could not find my sticks or chair.

Turns out that I forgot to pack them up last week. They were standing exactly where Ieft them.

I had no luck tonight, but stuck around half an hour after last shooting light to see what showed up.

I felt a touch of sadness when I saw two young roe show up. They are probably twins. I felt even worse when I saw a Rieke pitch up with another set of twins.

I'm going to have to shoot one of the twins in the next couple days. It's a feeling that leaves me very conflicted . I watched them hopping around playfully. I watched them staying close together.
The prospect of seperating them is unpleasant.

    Thank you for sharing Socrates.
Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2

This. The vegan/greenies will never understand the deep bond and understanding of nature you as a hunter connects to and is immersed in.

Too true. I figure it's because many of them actually have no direct experience of nature and therefor Disneyfy it. The most strident green fiends I know have no experience of 'nature' beyond stays at luxury game lodges.

If we don’t shoot the animals, they would die “peacefully” from “old age”…
