Detachable magazine bolt action rifles
I want a bolt action rifle which uses a detactable box mag.
Robar does a Remington 700 that uses M14 magazines.
Does anyone know of a gunsmith locally who can do such a thing?

Re: Detachable magazine bolt action rifles
Tikka use a removable mag (single stack) and Steyr as well (a staggered type).
I think one can also get CZ's with removable mags.

Thanks. I was really looking for someone to build me a bolt action rifle that takes FN FAL mags!

Re: Detachable magazine bolt action rifles
I'm not a gunsmith but I'd like to know what such a project would entail, things like what action, barrel length etc...
feel free to share.

Accuracy International do a upgrade kit for the Remington 700, looks like the business.
