Cape Cobra mostly where I am from. Not sure what the Ringkals is but think it might be a combo of neuro and cyto toxic venom? . Boomslang as stated are hemotoxic and although deadly its a slow death I believe. Never had a dog bitten by one. That said they are shy, not aggressive and rear fanged so maybe that's why. Have had loads torn to bits by the dogs over the years as they like to come onto the verandas during summer to look for swallow chick's that are found in nest there or in the trees around the garden.

How do you avoid them when you go hunting ?

How do you avoid them when you go hunting ?

It happens more at home around the house garden and sheds believe it or not. Hunting I haven't had issues bar 1 I think. But I don't do wingshooting and minimal stuff over hounds these days.
