Best 12” AR available locally for under 40k
Hi guys, looking to invest in my first AR. What suggestions are there for a decent mid range rifle at 12” - looking to spend between 20-40k max. Any advice would be appreciated as there are no stupid questions :) thanks

As for a 12-inch specifically, maybe this could be an option to consider.
SAI 2.0, which I believe could be ordered in 10.5, 12, 14, and 16.

If I may ask, why a 12" specifically?

I wouldn't go with a sai. Rather a sig 11.5 or maybe get a longer smith and chop it? Or top end of your budget maybe pickup a BCM 14.5

I see the IWI Zions are in stock at TacHq.
They seem well kitted.

I don't know about Kingsman's motives, but if you want a 'sub machine gun' length AR, I'd go with minimum of 12" barrel. The reliability compared to a 10.5" is hugely better and even compared with an 11.5". Yes, even the 0.5" does matter. My 12" and 11.9" ARs are way more reliable than my friends 11.5" Sig.
