    Default 20th Anniversary Bowie

Last year was my 20th year working as a knifemaker, and,to commemorate this occasion I planned 20 anniversary knives (we hadn't completed all 20,still have a few to do).
This Bowie is no 20 of 20,my first Bowie profile, and first flat grind in a knife this size (I've done a few smaller knives over the years).
    Specs -
    8mm thick Bohler K110,flat ground,hand satin.
    446mm (17.5in) OAL
    290mm (11.4in) blade .
    Oxide blasted,"antiqued" bronze guard.
Handle of Ivory, red ivory,dyed/stabilized curly maple with black fibre liners.
Satin and oxide blasted bronze buttcap.
    Bronze pommel.
Cowhide and ostrich shin leather sheath with bronze frog (made in-house as well).
We made "ammo boxes" for each of these knives.

    Thanks for looking

Absolutely gorgeous! Congrats on you 20 year anniversary. I very much hope to have one of your creations in my knife drawer before too long.
