Default What eyewear do you use for Hunting?

What shades you guys wear when hunting? I normally hunt in bushveld, so always prefer wearing some eyewear due to the presence of thorny branches ( I have had a fair share of thorns hitting me in the face due to a careless hunting companion or when riding on bakkie) as well as the harsh sun, being an office guy.

On my last hunt, my dark tinted sunglasses didn't perform well, I had difficulty picking up the subtle colour differences of the animals in the bush. So was thinking of a lighter lens tint, like brown.

    Any advise?

I make use of Wily X with the pink/yellow lenses.

Works well and does proved UV protection.

I wear Revision Sawfly's when wingshooting. Makes my mates call me "Norman" because between them and my US army camo hat they reckon I look like General Schwarzkopf more than someone who might belong to SA wingshooters. Having other people waving shotguns around near me makes me want the best possible chance of keeping my eyes in the event of an accident. Re the colour of lens I match that to how bright it is. Dusk and dawn or heavily overcast I go with the yellow and if it's bright the blue/gray

I bought a set of these from SO about 18 months ago for all shooting, and I'm very happy.

Ive used the clear and dark lenses extensively, not yet the other two.
