Being based off largely imported components as they will most likely need to be it can only be so cheap. The only bits I know of that could be sourced locally are propellant (if even available), wads from Jannock and shot. In the case of the wads and propellant the raw materials are probably imported anyway so again there's a floor to the input cost.

As per Paul, a steady supply will be a great start.

Thinking aloud I'm going to assume that at anything around the occasional 2kish special price we see on 28/7.5 Kuvima should be able to seel everything they make. As the stock that comes up at those prices sells out very rapidly. I wish them the very best of luck with the endeavor and hope that they can source a reasonable portion of the components locally. An independant producer on saffer soil can only be a good thing.

At the very least we should be able to avoid the expensive shipping cost on the bulky and heavy boxes of ammunition.

They're waiting for one or two components. Should be rolling soon. I think they'll be producing AAAs and SG type stuff first (on contract)... in fact they may already be.

7.5 28s (Rockies) are on the menu.

    Thanks Paul.

Do you know if they will supply reloading items like hulls and wads?

Jannock in Roodepoort is a good source of locally made wads.

Thanks Oaf. Only place i see with new hulls is Shooting Stuff, but no make / specs on them except the OAL.
    Is anyone else stocking hulls?

I've never come across virgin hulls nor to be honest found a need. I have a few mielie bags full of once fired hulls and have never come anywhere near running out.
