Default Gunless movie with Paul Gross, of Due South fame

I liked it. Don't believe some reviews, it is a comedy.

Our hero asks for some 45-40 ammo in a general store (and a carrot for his horse).

There is a mention of a "1851 Navy in cal .44" and an other one of a (not) "Patterson" revolver.

At least someone did some research.

Nobody gets killed in the movie (well... a dog gets it but you don't see it), so a good educative family fodder, but certainly odd (after all it is a Canadian movie, ... I think, Mounties included).

The most surprising part of the movie could still be the Guns of Gunless feature, where you see all these allegedly democrat/liberal actors act like overexcited kids around the replicas/props. And the director gets to say " maybe it's not a Paterson but the most important is to have fun!".

The Alec Baldwin nightmare is still fresh in every cowboy movie production routine. No guns, No accident!

That tool was the reason why airsoft guns were used in The Covenant; which I struggled to enjoy.
Didn't have that issue when watching the Gerard Butler budget special - Kandahar.

Don't worry too much, they will find some other creatively idiotic ways to have accidents, but these accidents will then be politically correct and all.
