    Default Semi-Auto shotgun charge spring

    Hi,
I have an Armsan Armstac RS-2 Semi-Auto shotgun. My charge spring has failed. Seems nobody has stock of spares/parts, least of all the supplier I purchased from.
    Any ideas or recommendations.
Is there a "standard size" to these springs?
    Thanks

Please explain what you mean with a charge spring? Is it the recoil spring or the mag tube spring?

Apologies… it helps if I use right terms. it’s the action spring - recoil spring.

If you have the original to hand a spring making company should easily make you a replacement. I've had a few made by a co in edenvale (weblor if memory serves) and I've just had them make the springs a fair bit over length and then trimmed them to length while testing.

This is a very good idea. NB if you get a new spring, use it for a good while before cutting it. Those long springs has got a tendency to shrink a lot in the first couple of months..
