I have. Used some Norc Surplus ammo and set it up.
With the barrel chop however fornthis particular gun sunning full suppressed the Piston is almost not needed. Iirc it was about 3/4 clicks from zero bleed off.
I think in the future I will open the gas port up, as I suspect with handloads and / or unsurpassed it will short stroke.
I briefly considered lightening the carrier but decided against it, as if it goes wrong a replacement is not the easiest thing to find unlike an AR.
