Then in 1991 I got to shoot one. Owner explained how the trigger works and let me loose. One week later I bought one of the first "gen 2" Glocks to arrive in SA. I had difficulty choosing between a G17 and G19. In the end I took the one with the serial number that was easy to remember. It was a G19. Still carry it today.

Bought some more Glocks later, G20 and G34. I also have a few other pistols, SA and SA/DA.

For good looks, I would vote for my Series 70 Colt 1911.

Yes, the Glocks are still ugly. But they can cook.

Fortunately, nobody got the bright idea to paint a Glock green and yellow yet...

I have seen a few white Glocks. Not the worst lol
