My swimming pool is now a Tilapia pond so raucous toads were a big problem, in fact even when it was a swimming pool they always found the need to get in, pomp and leave long strings of eggs.

In the beginning, I wondered why the fish never ate the tadpoles, so I tasted a few, not swallowed, just tasted. There was no noxious taste at all.

Then the Tilapia got bigger, now there is seldom a raucous toad around.

On the frogs legs part, Bull frogs are the ones I've eaten most although in Europe it was a smaller frog with a pointy nose.
I don't think I would class them as a delicacy, more a novelty, or if you are really stuck for food they will keep you going.

I had frog's legs in North Carolina, USA. They really tasted great. Lots of meat on them.
