    Gents,

Look for thread called " Remington ADL 30-06 & JP-Electronics Muzzle Brake" - I posted the story of fitting a JP to my Remington hunting rifle.

All I can say is I am happy with it - worked like a dream on the Springbuck hunt this year.

Yes it has been around for a while.

IRO IDPA sport shooting - Not allowed on rifles in IDPA Multi Gun/3 Gun. It is deemed a competition only device and not a defensive gun device - there are others that do the same with less "bulk" for defensive rifles in 5,56 and 308.

Hey Khumba. I want one for my mini for IPSC, but now worried that it also won't be allowed. Tou mention others, can you point me in the right direction?

Bulkish it might be.... I did find it lighter than other steel MB's which I have handled before AND to boot ----> it looks so much more AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Especially when fitted permanently / flush to the barrel. I wanted mine to be removeable as per other posting.

The problem with comps are that they are quite unsocial - it is not a pleasure to shoot one indoors and your shooting buddies will not enjoy them any where near as much as you do (I do not know what the blast from a JP is like).

Not to hijack this thread I started a new thread to answer your question, here
