    Default Extended suppressor usage

Has anyone got pros and cons when running extended round counts through a suppressor equipped AR?
    What kind of round counts?
    What suppressors should one avoid.
    What happens during long strings?
Are barrels damaged by the excess heat build up?

If its made from Alu the life expectancy will be alot lower then Stainless models reason Ase Uta is more pricey as its Stainless made and will last forever.

Not that others are bad. But the Alu wont nearly last as long.

Most new over barrel models has a Muzzle brake inside the Silencer. Not to reduce recoil but mostly to break and slow down gasses prior to hitting the baffles inside the silencer.

These brakes are then stainless and the baffles stay alu.

    Thanks for the info Shooty.
I heard in passing that the extra heat the suppressor captures that is transferred into the barrel causes damage to the barrel of the rifle itself.
Cracking was the word used if I recall
