    Default CZ P01 / D Compact

    Hello

Has anyone seen 2023 stock of the CZ P01 landing in RSA yet, specifically the standard 75 trigger system and not the omega variant

Digging through the old archive catalogues from CZ this what I have found for P01:

2014-2016 Listed with D Compact marked slide
2017-2019 Not listed in catalogue, P01 Omega is listed
2020-2021 Not listed in catalogue, P01 Omega is listed / P01 Steel frame w/manual safety added for 2021
2023 Listed with P01 stamp, shown with manual safety and described with aluminium frame and manual safety

pics from the 2023 catalogue (looks identical to picture of P01 steel frame with upturned beavertail)

Curious whether the information in the catalogues match up with what is being imported here and any users here who own/have shot a P01(with standard 75 trigger) what is the slide stamped with and the year of manufacture?

    Thanks

I have a older one. It is marked CZ 75 D COMPACT. It has a 13 and a stamp after the ejection port. Best I know it is an alu frame.

I have the P01 before the Omega came out.

However I have removed the standard 75 Trigger and replaced with Cajun Pro Kit.

You could see if a fridge magnet if it sticks to the frame or not, It should be aluminium like you say. Sweet lil gun

Very nice! How have the Cajun bits worked out in improving the trigger / affecting any reliability on factory ammo?

D Compact or P01 stamping on slide?

I have a Cajun setup i my Pre B 75 and the trigger is chocolate coated amaze balls. Zero creep and super crisp break. I polished the contact surfaces on the frame, trigger stirrup and the hammer strut and so forth as well which helped with smoothness. The precision of the engagement between the sear and hammer is fabulous and as a user drop in I'd be surprised if you could do better. I left stock springs as I wasn't after lighter trigger so reliability is unaffected.

Its like giving it a Shadow Trigger. Zero reliability issues and truly remarkable trigger.

Apart from the weight in SA, the trigger on my 75 is as good as that on my Hi Standard CItation .22 ITO of crispness and lack of creep.

I didn't even think of that. It is indeed Alu. Thanks Jay

Even though the thread is about P01's, Oaf and Shooty, you both are making a good case to add Cajun upgrades to an old 75B.. :)
