Converted my trusty Beretta PX4 into an LTT PX4
My EDC after a recent makeover, turning it into an LTT Beretta PX4 Compact Carry.
Custom worked in SA - a collaboration between Belva and SLEC.
Work done:
- Slide Cut & Fitting of LTT Optic Plate
- Cerakote in Sniper Grey
- Holosun 407CO
- Beretta Competition Trigger Group
- LTT Optimized Performance Trigger Bar
- LTT Chrome Silicon hammer spring
- Low Profile Decocking Lever (Type G Conversion)
- Beretta 92X Skeletonised Hammer
- Toni System alu magazine basepad
- UltiGrips Rubber Grip
Can shoot 1 inch groups from 10m with this little gun all day

Lovely package. I found the trigger pull on the full size and compact to be very good. Wonder how much better the competition trigger group would be. Up there with the most accurate pistol I have ever shot.

I have a Beretta PX4 Storm LTT Compact Carry it is a really impressive gun. I also have the full size PX4 and the LTT is a marked improvement on the plain vanilla style PX4.

Re: Converted my trusty Beretta PX4 into an LTT PX4
PX4's DA trigger pull is around 8-9lbs straight out of the factory.
The Beretta Competition Trigger Group, LTT 10lbs hammer spring and Optimized Performance Trigger bar combined can bring it down to about 5.5lbs - 6lbs. I haven't gauged it yet. I'm using my 92X Performance as a reference.
Like DS mentioned the biggest difference is the reset. It is a significant improvement over the stock trigger and what a joy to shoot!

Hi DS, in your write up you mention that the reset is not an issue for you. What is your current thoughts. I initially thought about changing the trigger but find that whatever the weight it is smooth enough so as to fit my purpose. The full size definitely needs grip tape. The compact less so. Back in the day we all put Pachmeyrs on our 92 and that gives a wraparound diamond pattern that really sticks.

Re: Converted my trusty Beretta PX4 into an LTT PX4
My thoughts exactly. Lovely looking blaster but I would want more trigger on it for carry. I once found the need to train my old CZ75 on someone and when the need passed I saw the hammer lowering. I had pressed the trigger possible as much as halfway to the rear in DA under the stress of the moment. Less trigger would have mean that the shot may have broken unintentionally.

DA is long and smooth.
If one has finger off until engagement discipline there is no issue.
1911 and striker fired guns all have a lighter trigger pull on first shot than the PX4 DA first shot.
