    26 and 17

I had considered trading my 17 Gen 4 for a new 19 Gen 5 recently, but the 19 grip just seems too short for me when I tried it at the gunshop. I know lots of guys will frown upon: "it feels good in the hand" but I do feel ergo's are important. My 17 is a great gun and easy to shoot well.

My hands are big. Have the same issue. Shoot my 19 95% as good as the 17.

And then you have guys carrying a 19 with an extended mag. Same size as 17.

If the OP has smaller hands a 19 and 17 do well. 19 carries easier.

I saw an alien in the flesh a while back and sadly didn't get to shoot it but did a bit of roofkyk and finger banging. It certainly is an impressive thing and moved the edges of the box a lot. At the R100k or thereabouts that they cost here I'm in no danger of bringing one home any time soon.

Glock is good but have fallen behind. I would strongly consider the P365 above a 26 or a 43

Have a few friends who have bought them and they point more naturally for me than any of the others in that size class. If I were in the market for a littley it would be in position #1.

    43 and 19.
19 for an all rounder, 43 for those high concealment or active days.

    From a person carrying a 26 with a + 2 mag. A 26 with a +2 shoe is basically same length
    as a 19. I would say a 19 and a 17. Mags are interchangeable, carry a 19 with spare 17 mags.

I disagree. Sit a glock 19 down next to a 26 with an OEM +2. Still shorter.

You also get aftermarket plus 2 shoes that are smaller.

I've carried 19 sized guns and maybe it's just me, but the "it's the same size as a 19" annoys just a little.
