    When I passed the same spot an hour later, the eagles were back, feeding and fighting off crows.

    We have one breeding pair left in the cape peninsula, they have a sub adult chick at the moment. I have also seen the pair at the Piekenierskloof pass N7.

    I remember them taking lambs from an Uncle’s farm in the Karoo, but that was many years ago.
