It is quite well documented, if you just Google CIT heist, there are pictures and everything.
I don't think either of those parties rely on that kind of fund raising for electioneering. They take it either directly from the budgets of the regions and ntities they control and/or the suppliers thereto.

While I have no dought some of tem are connected to the CIT heist 'industry' it looks way too well organised to be tolerant of Muppets like them dabbling in it.

The purpose of the Referendum Party was to give the voters DA government while forcing it to referendum. The 840K people who signed on to CapeXit did so specifically to support independence - that was the deal. The idea is first get independence then elect a government, which would undoubtedly be the DA. The DA knows that perfectly well but wants the whole country even if it can never get more than limited control. I reckon the WC voters didn't understand the purpose of the Referendum Party - too complicated for them, so they chose half the loaf.
No, I get it. OK, I don't draw a fine distinction between CapeXit and Referendum party, but who cares. Seriously, vote for this new "Referendum party" but it's OK, if they win the DA will still be in charge? Yea no seriously, that was never going to happen and they shoulda known it.

Remember how Auntie Pat got in bed with the ANC the first time she got elected? And the backlash?

As of now, if the cabinet posts have been decided I haven't heard it. But the signs aren't good - the ANC having offered the DA only four positions and the least important ones is the ANC believing it can exercise the same power as before. At the very least an unwillingness to apply the arithmetical fairness that the election result demands. Which would be more like ten, at least half of which would be important ones. It will be interesting to see how it pans out, but it is a very early warning that the ANC is going to give as little as possible to the DA, and that the DA faces an uphill battle to achieve anything useful. But I'll be happy to be proved wrong.

They are terrorists and criminals. If there is a way to carry on with what they have been doing they will find it.

Would she get the IEC job if they didn't have something on her?

I don't think you will be.

As far as the ANC is concerned, it will be business as usual

Gravy addiction is a bitch to kick and the fine deployees of the glorious liberation movement have a 30 year habit. It's foolish to imagine that they could even if they wanted to and even more foolish to think that they do.

The ANC is organised around the siphoning and distribution of gravy and that isn't for changing any time soon.
