What's wrong with +P+? It will not wear your gun out, because it'll bankrupt you long before that'll happen.

I have been looking for Ranger T ammo for the last 3 or so months, and no one has.

It never used to be a problem to get, now everywhere I try, they don't have.

Is this range being discontinued or are the dealers not importing this anymore?
None of the 147gr T series in stock with the agent at the moment. 124gr +P and 127gr +P+ Ranger T is available in 9x19.

Thanks everyone, I'll check out some of the leads

I based my choice on extensive ammo testing done by Lucky Gunner.
Their ballistic lab data is incredible.

I want to stick with the 147gr for a few reasons. One of them is that I have shot out my old carry ammo and have shot a about 200 of them with zero failures, so I am confident it works in my gun.

    Default Winchester Ranger T - Hen's teeth?

Very consistent performance between the different weights with more penetration on the 147gn

The Lucky Gunner tests were all done from sub-compact pistols, so keep that in mind when it comes to bullet performance. Look at other testers like AZAirgunner and Tnoutdoors9 on YouTube, they are credible and have tested many of these loads already.

The Ranger 127 +p+ has an enviable reputation in real world use.

That's been what I've carried for years and I have a reload that matches it's bark and POI for occasional familiarization training. It does seem to have a very solid reputation.

Two new channels to look for.

As for barrel length, I carry a compact P07 with it's 3.75 inch barrel.

As a few people on this forum have found out.

Point taken. I shoot mostly reloads that are just powerful enough to cycle reliably and if I have to use the pistol to save a life, the extra wear & tear on it will be the least of my worries. ;-)

My 9mmP BHP, being an older firearm is not really designed to continuously deal with that pressure, although it can cope with it occasionally. I love the gun and don't like the idea of hurting it if I can possibly avoid doing so. In a modern gun eg a Glock that I regard merely as a "tool" I couldn't give a flying f!@k and anyway they are designed with those pressures in mind. I've been told I should stop marrying my firearms but sometimes I can't help it..........
