Hi there, the legend that he is, Bram Frank who is an excellent custom knife maker designed a knife which Spiderco adopted a slightly modified version called the Gunting, and Cherusker Messer (a German company) is manufacturing Bram Frank's Lapu Lapu Corto, the knife i am interested in is the Magnum version, there is also a non-magnum version, here is a pic, any one own one, seen one, have a friend with one, and what are your opinions...

i've never handled 1 of those,i think they are too much of a "system" for my tastes.
to my knowledge Bram Fank is a respected martial artist and designer of the knives pictured not a custom knifemaker

I love the Lapu Lapu jibe!!, he's the guy that de animated Magellan and converted him into a meaty red paste on the shores of the Philipines!!
........and all for firing assorted projectiles at the LPB's (lid van die plaaslike bevolking) or indigenous population, for those who skipped national service.
here endeth the history lesson.

BTW didnt Spyderco come out with a similar knife with an Indian flavour?
