    Default Help ID this round.

    Looks like a 308 on steroids.

    Some specs:
    COL=75.28mm
    Case length=53.54
    Bullet diameter=7.87

    I do not want to pull the bullet to find out the weight.
    Here is a photo of the headstamp

    Here is the mystery round, next to a 223, 762x39, 762x51. The mystery round is the one on the far right.

    Trust the Argentines to have long-winded head stamp.

    Wow, I'd love to see this one and the 7.5 French next to each other, I bet they're close to identical...

    For a brief second I thought it was a 7.5x55 Swiss, the silver finish of the bullet giving me the idea it was one of the GP11 rounds

    Two 7×57 cartridges (left) next to a 7.5×55mm / GP 11 (mid), .308 Win (right) and .223 Rem (far right)

    Yes.

    MIC must not tempt us(me) with such easily identifiable rounds.

    A slingshot round from king David should prove to be a challenge.

    Thanks for the info.
    Messor, I will endeavor to find the most obscure unknown type of bullet to keep the guys at GS guessing and educate all.

    One of the advantages of being an ammunition collector. You get gifted the weirdest stuff from all over.
