My sons Nyala from last week's hunt in Pongola. It measured 28 3/8 inches. Shot at about 40m.

That is beautiful. I am counting the days. If I can get such a bull on my first ever Nyala hunt it will be seriously lekker.
I have purchased some Peregrine Plainsmaster (VRG4) in 124 gr for the 6.5x55. Will make time for load development. A new species and new load for new bullets. What more can a hunter ask for?
