    Default Humansdorp Co-Op

Whether you go there or try a remote transaction, get somebody else than Douglas King to help you.

It didn't start badly. I phoned about some mags and got Douglas on the line on my second attempt. He confirmed they have the mags in stock and said he would send me a quote. Then I could pay and he would send the mags. I got the quote and paid, sending pop and a seperate mail stating that I had paid. Absa to Absa so immediate. That was last week.

After my payment he ignored my follow up mail two days later asking for my tracking number. Today I finally got hold of the other salesman there who ended up figuring out that Douglas had done nothing further. My payment and order were totally ignored by Douglas. The other salesman phoned me after business hours to explain and to promise that my mags will be booked out and sent first thing tomorrow morning. Only thing he didn't want to do was kick Douglas in the nuts but if I ever get to Humansdorp myself I will handle that little detail.

So, if you use the Humansdorp co-op ask for someone else than Douglas King to help you. He falls into the useless to man and beast alike category.

It took four calls this afternon from me to get a result. At least the other gentleman was honest and didn't try to lie to me. Sorry, this is the situation, I will fix it...

I think he's more on the training/shooting range side. He used to be on the forum many years ago.

Cillier is do training and handles the Range, mostly.

Even after Riaan and Charol left I still could not complain about service.

The wife complains when I do the school run, always a little box that she see moving to the gunroom.

Succession management is buggering hard. The retail businesses that I am most impressed with aren't that way because of superior systems but because of the people.
