Finally we get Dad's Firearms
After numerous years, today my brother and I finally got to collect the firearms we had selected from the estate.
My boet got the .22 BRNO Model made in 1947 with the old classic Weaver 4X on it.
The BRNO .223 of 80's vintage.
I got the .357 S&W Highway Patrolman of circa 1980's vintage.
Real chuffed we both are
.
One too many wasted sunsets and one too many for the road .........

I'm glad and relieved for you. I've been privileged to get 4 of my dad's firearms on "early inheritance" and they definitely have a "different specialness" in comparison to my other guns.
Enjoy them and nurture them.

Good news. Those are nice guns to begin with and to have them come from your dad would only make them more special. I have a pistol of my grandad's that he gave me when I was 19 and it will be the very last of my guns pried from my cold dead hands. That '47 Brno .22 makes meore than a bit envious.

The 28 if unmolested is a stunning gun. Still looking for another but too many have been abused.
