I doubt barrel life is a concern. This is a piece of high precision equipment which requires maintenance and has a limited useful life span - the barrel specifically. Think about it this way. If you charge R1000 for each jackal, a 1000 round barrel life span is R1 000 000 (if you don't miss). Spending R50 000 on a new barrel every 1000 rounds is worth it (and probably a tax deductible expense). Some guys have the best jobs - if you don't mind long hours and working at night
