    $500 is the ITAR limit, changed years ago. These are also non-NFA parts i.e. ITAR doesn't apply.

    No ITAR limit is still $100.
    However most items small arms related except for a few thing were moved from the ITAR Munitions list (Eotech, and Nite Force Still fall under that along with certain Leupold Optics from my memory).

    The Dept of Commerce took over the handling of small arms and ammunition, and their limit is $500 before needing a US Export Permit.
