Interesting stuff - they didn't seem to place much emphasis on quick mag changes. They keep looking at their firearms while changing mags slowwwllyy. Some good one handed shooting though.
Strange how weight is a relative concept - today we think of the 1911 as big and heavy, whilst then it was considered normal.

Another reminder that we all stand on the shoulders of giants.
These guys went and faced the 'elephant' (as combat was called back during the Civil War) and lived to return and teach others. Yeah, we do things a bit differently now, but all that is old is not obsolete and all that is new is not useful.Run Fast, Bite Hard!

Excellent to see how the focus in most areas has evolved/shifted over time ... The emphasis being on learning to Fight with your handgun and not merely shoot your handgun
