1911 GUN BUILD

We have discussed this briefly with Frank H & Decided to Build a 1911 Centenary Pistol to commemorate 100 Years.

Basically we will be taking a brand new “Norinco” in all it’s Greased glory stripping it down & re-building it from the ground up. Using match grade Parts.

We are not looking at only building a Nice Looking gun, but rather a functional
& Competetitive Pistol that would be eaqually at home on the Range or as a Carry Gun.

To This end we will allow Gunsiters to have a certain amount of Input into the Build by running Polls on certain work to be performed.

Remember the Single Stack while having it’s own class in IDPA may soon have a dedicated home in IPSC as well. Not bad for a 100 Year old design.

Great idea. Are you going to take photo's during various stages of the build like Wilson did when building LAV a 1911? That would be cool.
