Default New from SIG - The P365 Fuse

SIG, taking a page out of VWSA's playbook when it came to introducing "new" variants of the venerable Citi Golf, have once again launched a new edition of their P365 range.

    Enter the P365 Fuse.

    What's different you ask?
Well, for starters it remains a slim line, single stack but with a 4.3" barrel and a standard capacity of 17 rounds!
    That's quite something.

SIG's prices in SA have - insanely - shot through the roof in recent years and the importers by many accounts aren't the most enthusiastic about customer support.
It's the reason why I've all but stopped suggesting SIG as an option to newbies - my stash of SIG pistols notwithstanding.

But there's something about this newest model that has me excited. The prospect of switching to something slimmer without giving up on capacity of just sublime!

I'm sure it's going to land at a hefty premium; with that premium extended to the magazines and accessories as well.

As has become the norm for SIG, the first few batches tend to exhibit some teething and QC issues so it's a blessing in disguise that we've got some time before anything reaches our shores.

My P320 has taken up guard duty in the safe over recent years, and if the Fuse delivers what is says on the box that 320 could see itself looking for a new home.

If there's any channel that's going to take the p1ss out of a SIG pistol, it's going to be the Military Arms Channel.

It's a nice looking piece for whatever that's worth. I've really enjoyed every SIG pistol I've had the opportunity to shoot but their pricing puts me off in a big way. From a place of deep ignorance, what is the benefit of a straight trigger?

The longer grip "prints" much more compared to say a G26

Exactly, whilst slimmer this is now at the point of using a g19 with a wider grip for better control.

The modularity of the 365 holds great appeal, pity the Fuse is too long to take the smaller grip modules

Apology, I do not want to steal your thread but since we are talking about SIG, any experience with their .22 pistol, the SIG 322?

Oddly, I'd dump my G19 for this. All things being equal, of course.

Size comparisons of the Fuse vs the other 365 models and a couple Glock variants as well.
