    so I’d also like to know what’s the best way to get dispose of it. There isn’t any serial number on the conversion kit/barrel

    I also own one and both the barrels have a serial number. It's the same serial number though.

    That a part has or does not have a serial number is irrelevant.

    If it's a frame, receiver or barrel it's needs it's own licence.

    If it's a bolt or a slide it needs a licence for a firearm that can accept it.

    If it has a barrel it was required to be be licensed under the 1968 act also.

    Interesting - the serial number is on the frame and not the barrel...
    The barrel and slide have matching numbers but different to the frame.
