Not sure if you saw any Kallermann somtuff, for example.

But in terms of full commercial outfits, what I have seen advertised can be truly abysmal, yet they think it is awesome.

I do leatherwork for myself, so get pretty judgemental about some of the quality. I like to think my stuff is good, but I don't think it is good enough to sell. A lot of others seem to not care what they sell. Bad or no edge finishing, using belly for holsters, stitch lines that aren't straight, and some people still go crazy for the stuff.
I've done some holsters and sheaths over the years in leather and while they've all been perfectly durable and usable they aren't up to the standard at which I'd be prepared to sell them. Even getting the stuff to the standard I can achieve would require me to price them way above what i'd be prepared to pay. High quality leather work takes skill and time so you just can't get real quality at El Paso price levels.

I'm currently using the Ross Leather OWB 12 92FS holster and it is well made. What I like about El Paso Leatherworks is that their thumb-break press stud is adjustable on their OWB holsters.

Someone is still producing Ross Leather as just last week I ordered the 'Jizni Gunbelt by Ross Leather' and the 'Ross Leather Mag Pouch'.

Thought it might just be old stock.Would be great if someone has taken over. The thumb-break has a place.

Ordered a brown El Paso single magazine pouch. Was shipped the following day. The build quality looks good to me. Went with a used El Paso Z88 thumb break holster.

I wear this rig with its own belt as I can't be bothered to loop the belt into trousers every day, so
I'm wearing two belts. The other advantage is if one needs to take a dump then the holster stays around your waist. If I'm wearing elasticised shorts then I tuck the holster inside IWB style.
