I made a bunch of my own thermoplastic gear and thought it was very delicious for years till I tried my first professionally made iwb holster and since then I've only made stuff I absolutely can't get or afford. It was that much better.

In no specific order:-

All local companies; I have various products from all of them.
If you look around you'll likely find their products in certain gun shops; otherwise you can buy online or contact them directly.

Said it before I'll say it again. With the number of other quality holster companies in SA there really is no place for dealing with one that offers poor customer service.

Just to wrap this up. I have never heard from Quantum Carry, its been over two months of trying so I've written that off as an unfortunate experience. I ended up buying from Daniels Holsters and HIGHLY recommend them for their excellent service and what seems to be a great product.

Sorry, I have no experience but I do like their prices and the holster with knife and hybrid that has fabric backing is appealing.

I really want to try the hybrid appendix but I am not sure whether it is worth having a hybrid with a claw. If I use my imagination the grip will not torque in well because the gun does not have a solid surface to pivot on. Whether this is true or not I have no clue. Again just my thoughts and no experience to share.

There are def bad ones :) I had two from another cape town based maker crack and break, first one in a few months, the replacement even quicker.

Quantum made me excellent stuff but the delay in comms is not good.
South West has given excellent service, James and mike (mike gone now) go out of their way to stand behind their products

It amazes me that anyone with a business making premium products that fall squarely into the discretionary purchase category would be prepared to pick up this level of negative publicity.
