Spartan Harsey SHF
Hi guys
Wanted to see if anyone has a Spartan Harley folder knife?
What are your thoughts, and worth the money?
Keen to get one
Something like this:

Many different versions, maybe you can mention what version you have ?
Thanks

Yeah, not many folks with the spare Tom for a R10k knife anymore. Especially in the world of R700 honey badger knives.

Re: Spartan Harsey SHF
Is this for EDC or for a collection? While they are very nice, I had one. I never carried and was part of a collection.
There are other option for EDC, that are of similar quality but cheaper. You paying for the name….IMO
If you want as part of a collection then they are special to have.

Re: Spartan Harsey SHF
^This. I'd need to be an awful lot better off than I am to carry a R10k knife as much as I like to fondle them. The stuff that sits in my knife draw coated in wax being pretty has buggerall chance of going out with me. Luckily there are, as @PotatoFace says, a massive selection of much more budget friendly stuff that doesn't lack in quality.

Re: Spartan Harsey SHF
Was going to edc it for a bit, but would be part of a rotation of carry. I was probably going to cut a sharpening choil as well
What other option would you say has similar quality at a cheaper price?
Which version did you have? There are some really nice looking ones out there

Re: Spartan Harsey SHF

I had the middle one.
Locally you can check out HARM Edge Tools and ADV (Andre de Villiers) knives for custom folders. They are fighting folders.
The Spyderco, Benchmade, Zero Tolerance range at Knife Guy have some good quality knives. But depends on budget.
If you can import, check out https://www.offgridknives.com/folding-knives/
Off Grid is a USA family owned business and great quality knives. The Scorpion is their top of range and smooth folder.
