Re: Tactical light for pistol
One day when I'm big I will have a Surefire X300. The TRL 1 would be second choice.
Personally I have tried lasers and they don't work for me.
As with everything a light isn't a light just like a car isn't a car or a whiskey isn't a whiskey. Unfortunately a lot of guys who work in gunshops know less about guns than o do about motivational speaking.

Re: Tactical light for pistol
The Insight WX150 is on my shopping list. I missed stock at MRST by literally minutes (phoned and the last one left the store minutes earlier) and then when new stock arrived (few months later) it landed at a considerable price jump and I had to put it off. As I said, it's on my shopping list...but so is another M&P and a lot of other gear :)

Re: Tactical light for pistol
I see the rail mounted light as a secondary one and I'm waiting for my TLR-3 to arrive.
Tiny running on a CR2.
Backup for a proper 6P sized clicky light.
