300 PRC build

Hey guys,

I’m looking to build a Howa 300 PRC in a Warrior Gun Chassis as a bit of a budget build for hunting and general cool-guy purposes. Does anyone know where I can buy just the Howa 300 PRC action in Gauteng?

Hi Vega5. Can't help you in Gauteng, but if you don't come right you can try Habitat Africa (based in George). They had a Howa barrel action with 24" varmint barrel for R14 795.
They were also selling Howa 300PRC's in Gun Warrior chassis R35 295 to R38 095

That GRS chassis looks great, but I presume it was not such a budget build as initially set out to be.

I could’ve probably only save on the chassis and used the Field Stock. But I’m not unhappy with the result. The bipod was a luxury.
Probably all in around R60k 🤓
