We have a litter of German Shorthaired Pointer Puppies for sale

They are 8 weeks old on 23 April 2025
First inoculation done and dewormed

Parents are working gundogs.

Sire is 5 years old and has passed HPR field trial club natural ability hunting test. He has 5 seasons under his belt. He is a fair pointer and a great retriever, with very few wounded birds evading him.

Dam is 2 years old and only needs to complete the retrieve on land to attain her natural ability certification. She also received a certificate of commendation at HPR puppy stakes. She has only hunted half a season but retrieves shot game competently, excelling at retrieving wounded birds. She is also a great pointer and backs instinctively.
During the hunting test, she just did not show any interest to the dummy on the land retrieve, but 5 minutes later, she did the water retrieve perfectly.

These dogs are intelligent and biddable, and the breed is generally friendly with children and other dogs. Loyal and affectionate.

They are high energy dogs that require regular exercise, especially in their formative months. As they get older, they figure out how to conserve energy for the important thing.

Protective of their family.

I've had a couple of inquiries from people who were worried about the dam's ability to retrieve, so I made a video with a couple of retrieves that she made on Saturday.


I think it's important to note that the test that she did not complete was with an artificial dummy. She has no problems retrieving shot game.

I'm also confident that she'll pass the dummy retrieve in August when the next opportunity is to complete that part of her assessment.
