Why keep the nice guns in the safe Monday-Friday when you can carry it with you

God forbid we actually have to use our carry guns in a real-life situation, I feel much more at ease knowing my EDC is something I am proficient with. Cost of living with regrets is much more than 35k...

That’s true, but I wanted to get a P365 AGX for my EDC, at 55kish I think that the 43x I have is a bit of a better option for now…

While I fully agree that the way to carry a weapon like this is cocked and locked, most somewhat-modern hammer-fired pistols have "full floating" firing pins. In other words, the firing pin's length is such that when the hammer is all the way down, the firing pin is still not in contact with the primer. In which case, a blow on the hammer should not cause an AD. The same with a dropped pistol.

True that. It does however still leave the problem of having to pull the trigger and lower the hammer on a live round as part of a standard admin procedure.

    Agreed.

Having now watched the video, I prefer the S2 compact.
I HATE de-cockers. Much rather have a manual safety, even without the backup of a firing pin block.

But as with some other posters, this is too expensive a pistol for me to wsnt to carry.

Raceguns aside, carrying a pistol without a firing pin block is just as stupid as an empty chamber.

A FPB is your last line of defence against Murphy and it only costs you a few grams of trigger-pull.

Hear hear. Apart from that the number of people who would actually benefit from the improved performance of a tuned race gun with a slick trigger in a gunfight is probably miniscule.

They still haven't made my dream CZ. I want a PCR frame with a full length slide, ported barrel, RDS cut and a tuned single action only trigger.
