Default Habemus Papam!- We have a Pope!

    https://www.catholicworldreport.com/

He's an interesting man. An American who spent most of his life outside America (in Peru and Italy). Who is socially liberal (advocates for the poor and migrants) but theologically conservative (opposes abortion, euthanasia, women priests and gender ideology). He was very critical of Trump but he was also a registered Republican.

The Church (and the world) world is in for interesting times.

He tweeted two remarks where he disagrees with Vance... headlines: "New Pope hates Vance."

    Sigh...

Much like the media pearly clutching at Trump wearing a blue suit to the funeral.

A wider angle picture revealed more blue suits than black.

He seems to have been elected as a stabilizing Pope, the fact the conservative and progressive elected him so quickly means he's at least palatable to both sides.

Time will tell what he truly believes.

Suid Afrika het ook 'n kandidaat gehad, ene John Kellog. As hy ingekom het sou sy Afrikaanse naam Pous Toasties gewees het.

Damn. He's not even been Pope for a week and the media is already digging up controversial stuff his brother said. Shame.
