Bought it 2nd hand, the owner is planning on immigrating to New York (yes I can also think of better places to be then NY) so he gave me his whole kit. I LOVE IT, the sights is a bit low on the barrel it gave my cheek a good thump the first shot but so you learn. ;-) must say it’s really accurate for a gun with fixed sights maybe Joe had them tuned a bit. I got a set of peep sights with but I don’t think ill fit them it will spoil the guns classic look

Longtom - It is a 45cal patch and ball. I have never shot a rifle with the natural balance of this Kentucky. The Springbuck was shot at 25 paces while it was running past me. Wouldn't be able to do it with anything else.
