Re: US Airman killed by SIG Pistol accidental discharge
Despite their silence and general mis-handling of the situation, I am quite convinced that Sig have had a team of engineers "looking at it" since the first occurrence.

Let me know if the link works for the official SADPA document

Re: US Airman killed by SIG Pistol accidental discharge
Works for me, thanks.
I wonder whether many gunsmiths would be willing to make such a declaration (on any firearm for that matter)? Each P320 that is intended to be used in SADPA matches needs to be checked and inspected by a registered gunsmith and given a written report stating that it is safe to be used as intended.

Re: US Airman killed by SIG Pistol accidental discharge
Now this begs the question, when will SADPA require the same gunsmith inspection report for other brands?
Reason being is that a lot of people modify their pistols to turn EDC pistols into race guns. And very few send their pistols to gunsmiths for those alterations. It is not like ND's are solely a Sig thing.
