Amendments to the FCA: More gun control coming our way
Hi folks,
I thought it would be pertinent to share this here, I'm sure GOSA knows more about this than I do; so feel free to add to this Paul.
If this passes, we're in deep shit...

Re: Amendments to the FCA: More gun control coming our way
All the muppets who own guns and don't fund the organizations that fight back against this shit are complicit. The amount of money that people drop on any individual farkle for their instragrammable gun would in aggregate give our organizations a war chest with which they could pummle the commies in a game of never ending legal whack a mole.

Re: Amendments to the FCA: More gun control coming our way
Yesterday Safe Citizen issued a PAIA request on the Civilian Secretary demanding the info being hidden.
Let's see.
I have been speaking to Ian Cameron about this for a few weeks already. We are sending our expert to explain the flaws in the plan to the Portfolio Committee, on their invitation."Always remember to pillage before you burn"

Re: Amendments to the FCA: More gun control coming our way
I wish you guys all the best in this round of the fight and can only hope that the incompetent commie fucktards have been as useless and slack arsed as usual in the construction and execution of their sneaky plans. Hopefully their sticky gravy slopping fingers have left prints on everything they've touched. I'll be watching the political parties closely on this one. My vote is no longer pre determined and I doubt I'm alone in that.

Re: Amendments to the FCA: More gun control coming our way
So... as we saw last year where the Higher Ed Department was used to try to kick the Firearms Training quality assurer into touch, now NEDLAC (a government creation) is being used as a stalking horse to do an end-run around 'sufficient consultation'. They have roped in BUSA (who claim that they represent ALL of the private sector) to accomplish this.

Re: Amendments to the FCA: More gun control coming our way
Hard to pick my favourite part, the competition is fierce, but it's got to be
as if that has any bearing on anything, particularly in a country where police stations routinely don't answer the phone, don't have any form of transport and where people are murdered at police stations quite frequently.13 (2) The Registrar may only issue a licence under this section to a person after having regard to-
(c) the geographical distance from the nearest police station to the residential or business premises of the person applying for the licence;
