Hunting in France 2025/2026 season

The season started again 4 weeks ago. Here is a video of my first boar of the season yesterday. A bit of shitty shooting but at least the boar is in the fridge.

Hi Daavg,

I just made it look hard. Actually really disappointed that I didn't drop it on the first or second shot.

Normally you don't get that many shots at an animal. Luckily it worked it this time but I'll have to take out the .22 with the same scope for a hundred shots this week. We were hunting this morning and got up to go, but have been in bed all week with a flu/COVID story. So on the last moment I decided to bail.

The scope is an RTI 3x9. In the video I was at 4 magnification. Should probably have zoomed out for the closer shots.

What distance were at shooting at ± ?

First shot was at around 100m I guestimate, the rest at around between 40 and 50m
