Default Holosun EPS Carry default adaptor plate

    Hey guys.

While waiting for my G43X MOS license, I've gotten hold of a Holosun EPS Carry, which comes with an adaptor plate.

Does anyone know if the default adaptor plate that comes in the box locally is based on the RMSc footprint (in other words, will it fit my G43x MOS)?

I've checked out this page (Shield RMSc footprint - Optics Trade Blog) zoomed out the page to where the diagram is as close to the actual size of my plate, and it LOOKS like it is.

But I would just like to get confirmation from someone who knows.

I'll check once I get to where my gun is stored, but in the meantime I'd just like to know how sound I should be sleeping at night... ;-)

Phoned a couple of gunstores, but no one could give me a definitive and consistent answer to the question.

    Greetings,

As far as I know you'll need a RMSc-to-K adapter plate, I'm not sure if the adapter plate is included in the Holosun EPS CARRY box or not, but the EPS CARRY uses a K footprint which is a modified RMSc footprint.

I have the non MOS Glock 43X, and a week ago I purchased the Osight SE with a 6MOA GREEN dot for only R3750, next step is to save up some funds and do the optic cut at MRST in Pretoria.
For anyone who is interested the pricing is now R2850 for the optic cut.

Thanks Branden. I took a look again at the optic diagram from that site, but this time on my phone. I was able to zoom it to where the holes line up exactly with the plate I did receive in the box, so I'm pretty confident that it will fit.

HOWEVER... the voice in the back of my head says it would really like that optic to sit as low as possible. According to Gemini, I will have to completely file down the rear "posts" (I don't know what you officially call it) in the MOS cutout, and partially file down/shorten the front posts for this to happen. But that means I would need to have this done on a brand new, out of the box gun.

Guess I have roughly three months to decide while I wait for the license.

Well when you have the blaster at home you can play around with it and see if it will fit without any modifications, Google, Reddit and other forums might give you the answers.

When you do install/ mount the optic don't forget to add thread locker compound to the screws.
