I think the biggest difference between this one and the average pig in the area is that this one never pulled anyone over for a bribe.

This one measured 13". Our average, fully grown male warthog has tusks measuring ±10". Over a 15-year period, we have hunted only 8-10 warthog with 12"+ tusks. The terrain here is very rocky, which is not conducive to pigs growing long tusks.

That is a really beautiful pig. I have one here that pops out from time to time, and last year he was in GREAT condition. Fat, good-looking, etc.

I spotted him the other day for the first time in a year through, and he's skinny. Walks around with two younger boars, both significantly larger in body but much smaller in tooth. I'm looking to take him off the menu soon, as soon as I get the chance to do so. I don't think he'll have long left in the wild anyway, so might as well harvest some big teeth while I'm at it.
