Re: My Lyman Plains Pistol
One can never have enough BP guns. Excellent for stress relief and far cheaper than medicine

Re: My Lyman Plains Pistol
Excellent; I have one of those, just with the nickel plated finish. The only problem is to find .315 to .319 balls for it. When in need I slightly squash a normal .311 ball to fit the cylinders.
Give some feedback on what the action is like. I found mine rather stiff to cock.

Re: My Lyman Plains Pistol
Did Sands at Flint & musket have any of the right balls?
The permit shouldn't take to long if you have an existing firearm license. I believe you can get it even faster by visiting the Explosives guys in Pretoria. As I'm sure you're itching to give it a try....
