    Best of luck.
Thanks, so after a couple of visits, phone calls, empty promises, and excuses I finally lodged a complaint against my DFO/station as it turned out my app was never captured. Finally received my C** reference number and been waiting ever since.

2021/02/08 SEND TO PROVINCIAL DFO The application was send to the Provincial DFO by the DFO and being processed.

Handed in 13 October 2020, so it took 118 days to capture and it's been 181 days in total.

I got this number on the forum 012 353 6150 and was told they operate until 2pm. That number is supposed to be the CFR reception.
012 353 6111 I think is to check if your card has been printed.

Nice, thanks. I started something similar but gave up due to conflicting info, but this is well done and useful.

    Morning guys

I submitted a new app at Sandton DFO on Monday last week (31 May). Usually I get an sms with ref number the day after, or at least can find it on the SAPS website using my ID and serial number. But it's been more than a week now, and nothing. Has the process changed with new apps, or have those guys just shelved the app in the wrong pile?

Just want to check if there are any similar experiences here?

Took me 2 weeks before it received attention at DFO. You can try inserting your ID and serial numbers on the app or website which will then give you the reference number if it has been captured by your DFO.
