SWATG - Gunfight Fundamental Course

The time has come for us to start the year, and that means to start training again(hope you never stopped) We are now proud to present our entry level gunfighting course, please do not get me wrong when I call this an entry level course, and excuse the phrase but this won’t be your Daddy’s course. We all realize that basic shooting fundamentals are very important, but this must not be confused with a dragged out, Grip, Front sight, Stance, trigger finger press scenario. Yes we will be taking you through all the required fundamentals, but the aim will be on preparing you for worse that can happen, so no medals here for you if you can shoot one hole grouping at ten meters in five minutes. Here is what we will be covering:

• Preparing the mind for battle(lecture)
• Basic shooting fundamentals and acceptable combat accuracy
• The draw stroke(from concealment)
• One handed draws
• Movement incorporated into the draw stroke
• Malfunctions
• Reloading
• Movement
• Shooting on the move
• Run and Gun
• Fundamentals of cover
• Multiple target engagement
• Sighted, flash sight and point shooting
• Split second decision shooting
• Introduction to force on force

We have invested heavily in new target systems to make things firstly a bit more interesting and secondly more realistic.

The course will be held over a period of 2 days, Saturday/Sunday, and if no problems arise it will be held at Magnum Shooting range. This course is definitely not only for beginners, but compulsory for beginners especially if you are interested in advancing your skills and wanting to attend any of the other courses presented by us.

Requirement:

• Own firearm
• Minimum 400 rounds
• Own eye and ear protection (compulsory)
• Own refreshments

Price and bookings

• R850 per person this will include range fees and targets
• Minimum of 6 students maximum of 10
• Planned course to be held in February(dates will be confirmed with bookings)

I promise that I will try and not skip anyone who book for the course, we now have a better system in place

Thorkind and SSP I don't know if I should thank you or run away as the Bernhard will most probably also come if he is not in some foreign country, eish there goes the integrity of the course, but with you guys there I will once again have to pull out all the stops to "entertain and impress" you, you are also now forcing me to go out and train, to impress a ""newbie" is easy, but you guys, that is just plain hard work fighting0035
