Norwegians Hunting the Eastern Cape

It was so cold in Norway - that we jumped on a plane - and arrived the 7th December.

Andrè chose his .44 with a 300 gr. Mimek - about 1200 fps





and I - a TC this time - in cal. 30-30 with Hornady SST 150 gr. at 2000 fps.





Before lunch the first day - I got two -and after lunch - seven.










Perfect expansion




Spotted the nyala down in the valley



Distance 70 m






Distance 105 m






I managed to hunt 13 animals. Neither the impala, nyala or the waterbuck ran more than 50 m - if they did not fell on the spot!





I borrowed a Ruger the last day - because I was "tired" of hunting with a rifle (he-he)A female and two one-year old kids - get out at 60 m.

At 30 m the Norma factory ammo 240 gr - hit the heart, and he jumped as high as a springbuck does - and went down after 10 m.
