Re: Randy Lee (Apex) Ninja reload on revolver
I saw the ones where they chamber a pistol like that (sort of) as well. Looks pretty good, but how good/bad is it doing that to a pistol?

Re: Randy Lee (Apex) Ninja reload on revolver
I guess if you locked yourself in your room and did endless repetitions of this using dummy rounds / empty cases you might eventually cause some issues with that cylinder / crane / stop stud interface but it is probably not all that harmful done in competition.
The bigger issue if one carries a revolver sor serious business is that it is a k@k technique if you are not running light 'mouse fart' loads and / or the gun is not clean as a pin, or when you are not standing flat footed on a nice square range in daylight with no one shooting at you (or maybe about to shoot at you). If extraction gets sticky or things go sideways there is no margin for error with the above technique.
Jerry Miculik is a long time revolver shooter (full loads, Magnuns, etc.) who is both faster than Randy, and who uses a technique that is much more practical...
